Tai
Chi and Chi Gung workshop – For Health and Relaxation, developing greater
wellness from within.
Tai Chi and Chi Gung are ancient forms of
Chinese internal exercises known to be highly effective health care techniques
which are increasingly being embraced by western medicine as important
alternative complimentary therapies. With practice these exercises are known to
cultivate greater emotional and physical strength, reduce stress, improve
balance and alignment, increase vitality and much more!!!.
It is an exciting
opportunity to offer a two hour practical workshop promoting health, wellbeing,
stress relief and inner balance through Tai Chi, Chi Gung and Relaxation
techniques. With particular emphasis given to the importance of mind/body
connection through mindful intention and practice.
Participants will
have the opportunity to practice these techniques delivered in a safe, relaxed,
friendly and supportive atmosphere, with an easy to follow, informal style of
teaching.
Participants will
spend time working as a whole group as well as smaller groups for more
individualised support when practicing techniques.
You will be offered
the opportunity to take part in a variety of Tai Chi and Chi Gung exercises
which consist of gentle, fluid movements which are relaxed and slow in
tempo. Informal discussion about the
techniques used will be offered throughout.
You can expect to
leave this workshop having had fun, feeling more relaxed, energized and
inspired to use your ‘tool box’ of techniques, knowledge and skills in your own
practice towards improving health and wellbeing.
